Best bro there gets a golden bro award. Doesn’t question that his buddy is now shacked up with an adorable ghost girl, is calm and cordial in conversation explaining the situation, and was even willing to strike if it turned out that his friend was in any sort of trouble. But that expression he has on the last panel says a thousand words, the first paragraph of which probably detailing how his world’s been shattered and he now knows the paranormal is all too real. True broship.

I can't help to wonder if her ex was initially an ass to her, probably in ways she either didn't know about or was in denial of...but if that was the case, at least he was honest and broke it off instead of stringing her along.

On page 15, panel 3, ghost-girl suggests that she may
have driven her lover away because she was sexually
insatiable (which she clearly still is).
It doesn't really matter why the schoolgirl threw herself
out the window, as long as she becomes a ghost.

We don't have enough clues, and the few we have are rather ambiguous.
For instance, a guy might be "stolen away" by another girl because he has
already become dissatisfied with his current girlfriend (for whatever reason),
and is ripe for the plucking.
Plus, you have to consider personal perspective. If a self-centered girl makes
her boyfriend so unhappy that he finally dumps her for another girl, she might
claim he was "stolen away" from her, when, in fact, she drove him away.
In that sense, ghost-girl might be a bit of an "unreliable narrator," which would
really muddy the water.
The big clue is the title, "The Floozy of the Toilet." That would seem to support
my theory, that ghost-girl in life was sexually insatiable, and that her boyfriend
finally got tired of her demands. Maybe he dumped her because she cheated
on him, after he failed to satisfy her. That would certainly make her a "floozy."
As I said, we just don't have enough clues.
P.S. A sexually-insatiable girlfriend may seem ideal, but constant, immoderate
sex eventually wears thin. It is literally "too much of a good thing."

I did see that her being a nympho as the cause of her being dumped was inferred but that was one of the main reasons why I was wondering (or doubting) if that was the true cause - sounds like too much of a good thing for a guy to leave. Also, factor in that there were a least a couple times the story had her being "stolen away from" and "tossed aside by" her ex. Not "dumped because" or "driven away", but stolen. That jumped out at me while reading this.

Starting on page 21, the ending is a delightful triple-twist.
First, we're led to believe ghost-girl truly is a terrifying spirit who
seduces her victims by maliciously "tugging at their heartstrings
to make them wanna bang her," in order to drain their energy.

Then, on the very next page, ghost-girl turns out to be sweet
and friendly, after all.

Finally, instead of confining herself to the restroom, to continue
her semi-secret existence, ghost-girl goes public, and becomes
a very popular member of the Occult Fans Club!

Usually a ghost is depicted as a vengeful spirit seeking to terrorize whoever but she was just looking for healing and closure. And yes, I think it was cool that everybody could look past her supernatural nature at the end.

I love that series. In spite of Kana's tragic suicidal backstory
(which is rather gruesome), the story is funny, light-hearted,
deeply romantic, and very sexy.
