As Ota and Anna have sex in Paradise, on Mars Professor Ubukata, Naomi, Newt, Mr. Penis and Kokomi want to save him. Ubukata explains that when Ota and Anna restore the time tunnel, it will still have the old rifts, 3 months ago, and 200 years ago. Plan: force Ota to exit 3 months ago, then Anna 200 years ago. Since two Otas will be arriving 3 months ago, experienced Ota would be fully absorbed into innocent Ota and have no memories of the past 3 months. To force Ota to exit 3 months ago, the machine on his back will be quickly programmed before Ota & Anna enter the tunnel. In the tunnel, the terminal pushes Ota through the nearest rift. Ota arrives in 2200 just like in Chapter 1, with a double-exposure effect as the 2 Ota merge. "A forest!" Anna arrives back in the love hotel. Her healed vision is her only proof that it wasn't a dream.
Ubukata checks the historical archive and all records of Ota killing Anna have vanished. Ubukata says Ota's 3-month loop will create a more vivid and intense memory in anyone he had sex with during the loop. Naomi tests it immediately and enjoys the realism. The others also test it in a double page spread of all four shrieking women thinking about their sex with Ota, and the standard motto ("Humanity's quest for ecstasy..."). The remainder of the Finale is a redrawn version of the end of Chapter 1, with more dialogue (emphasizing Ota's first-time innocence) and an occasional feeling by Ota that everything is familiar.
The last panel of the Finale could be: To Be Continued in Chapter 2, Book 1. [There is no "The End". Now Ota will be forever reliving those 3 sex-filled months in 2200, saving humanity with his idol each time, and the reader will be re-reading the saga forever.] This alternative ending would avoid all Ota's creepy behavior in the current final chapter.
