The Victim Girls R: Tetralogy

Physical Asanagi release? Hell yeah, brother! Instant purchase for me, and it should be for you too. I don't know if it's just me, but Asanagi's stuff always leaves me feeling very cathartic, and that's always a win in my book!

For the uninitiated, Asanagi's works tend to be more on the violent side of things, so keep any content warnings you may see in mind. "Succubus Queen" is a great example. Asanagi doesn't really do "vanilla" as there's always some form of violence, but you can try out "Kijouin-sensei's Ero Manga Brain" for something tamer.

So, should you get it? Absolutely yes, 1000%. All of the Victim Girls R stories are great, my personal favorite being Succubus Queen. I just with the Asanagi Box collections had physical releases that weren't convention exclusives.

The book is four Victim Girls stories from doujin; three of the stories were releases in the first Asanagi box set (https://www.fakku.net/hentai/asanagi-box-the-complete-victim-girlsr-collection-english) and the fourth is from the second box set that was put on sale shortly before this book (https://www.fakku.net/hentai/asanagi-box-the-victim-girls-collection-vol-2-english). So in terms of the content you can get a good idea of what to expect from the reviews on the box sets (or on the component doujin). Warning though, if you're not sure what the series is about then you really wanna make sure this is your kind of stuff, it's not for the faint of heart and frankly the tags on the stories kind of undersell it.

As a physical release, it's a much more affordable way to get Victim Girls material than the box sets, so if you're looking for that and you didn't want to splurge on the expensive physical doujins then it's a very good choice. Or if you're just a collector and you can't resist having both the book and the doujin versions.

For a purely digital purchase then it's not really adding anything significant (in fact the book is inexplicably missing an extra lore page from the Succubus Queen story) so in that case just view it as an anthology that lets you get the four stories at a discount over purchasing them separately. If you don't have any of them already and you're suddenly wanting to get into Asanagi then it's not a bad way to start but if you already have all this stuff then you're probably fine without this.

I rarely had the time to find all of asanagis works but everytime I read one I know im in for a good time, this is no different. Each book in this tetralogy is lovingly done and both entertaining and arousing.
