I confess that I don't understand this whole idea of the husband getting transferred and leaving his wife behind. If he's been transferred (as opposed to just going on a business trip), why not just move along with his whole family - especially when they clearly live in an apartment and not a house? Certainly, that's what would happen in the US. This scenario makes no sense to me, but it pops up often enough that it at least implies that there's something going on culturally in Japan that makes moving for your job but leaving your family behind somehow make sense.
Either way, this was definitely sexy. And the comedy on the first page was golden. :)

Based on what we've seen in other similar stories, these transfers are usually temporary, for just a few months, so moving would not make that much sense.

Whether or not one puts it down to Art Imitating Life (in this case, stereotypical business practices in Japan which oft-times separate couples or families), I sometimes wonder whether the partner who away feels "a disturbance in the Force" if ever the other (so-to-say) raises the "Cheating" flag.

Well, with a title like that, it's pretty easy to tell what kind of release awaits. A cheating one. Well, not exactly the kind I envisioned, this one was actually somewhat entertaining.

It's the fact that the husband doesn't have any real part in the story, he just gets mentioned, briefly shown without a face and thats it. You can also kinda understand, why she would cheat. She's frustrated and lonley. This all makes it easier to relate to the guy, who fucks her.
