There's no deeper meaning to it. Kanji can be read in many ways, and this is just the first time she sees the intended reading—as the phone contact includes furigana. Everyone so far has referred to him with his family name, which makes sense considering their relationship to him is primarily professional. "Takashi" is just a bit more common as a name, which is why she assumed it was that.
"Anyway, what about the scene? Did you find any useful clues?"
"Sure did."
"You did!? I'd love to hear it!!"
(page 24, panels 3-4)
I'd love to hear it, too. We all would.
It would be nice to see Arikawa showing off his genius, in between
bouts of sex. Even though this is a detective series, we still haven't
seen anything resembling a real investigation, with a baffling crime
and a clever solution. The story should be a respectable whodunit,
sprinkled with clues for Arikawa (and the perceptive reader).
For example, we should be enjoying great scenes in which
Arikawa reveals the identity of the murderess even as he's
fucking her, while Shizuku watches in (jealous) amazement.
Shimohara is wasting a golden creative opportunity.
I suppose in this case the title is to be taken seriously: Tokyo Black Box Case.XX The Sadistic Professor's Case Report - Breaking the Rookie Female Investigator! Probably more about their antics than crime, sadly ;_; Also I think "Destroy" is doing the story, as well as the story for like, 5 other Dascomi series.
I concur. They could have made her a school admin who was trying to rein in a prodigy instructor and done away with the detective tease entirely. The hot sex and growing relationship aside, I'm slightly frustrated with the lack of any interesting mystery reveal or investigation.
definitely one of the sweetest ass pics we've ever
seen on Fakku.
