The MC's inexperienced, frantic and excited internal monologue this chapter definitely added to feel of a chapter being between two inexperienced high schoolers that are living out a first time experience together that really added to that youthful wholesomeness.
At the end when he's unsure and takes a shot and asks Sakurai "Wanna do the rounds together tonight?", as he cheers himself on in his head he actually said it and Sakurai turns around and gives him that smile, I cheered lol.

Page 15, Sakurai is another flawless example of that perfect Pennel cuteness!

His thought process reads like he is aromantic or doesn't understand romance. Especially the comment "none of the girls in class are cute". He isn't asexual as he clearly feels horny while alone, hence looking at porn on his phone, but he will make a terrible boyfriend and miss all the "obvious" clues she lays out. Or he will be the best boyfriend by trying too hard to make up for what he doesn't feel and be personally miserable.
