Considering the look she gave him on page 7, I think it's another one of those where she would say she can 'work hard because of him' or something along those lines. And I feel like if he made a move on her she wouldn't exactly...refuse, but her mother already beat her to it, so to speak. But hey, nothing wrong with sharing.
I was definitely hoping she'd get some loving too, and considering that To Be Continued at the end? It seems like a wish that might come true. That being said, definitely can't wait for the sequel!
