I think Mayu will end the relationship even without her finding out kaito is cheating on her. It's not like every guy she's around isn't going to enjoy her company and when one dude shows interest, she'll realize the worthlessness of kaito and the relationship. It would be funny to see how kaito and mizuki would react to the breakup. Would be funnier if Mayu did break up with kaito strictly bc she knew of the cheating.

Yeah but kaito and mizuki weren't really dating. They were sex pals but that type of relationship should have ended once Mayu and kaito started dating (from the story, mizuki even helped them get together in someway). So in a twisted way, they think it is ok to sleep together behind her back.

I think it's rather a case of the two friends actually being infatuated with eachother, but not being honest with themselves. This goes especially for the girl who even states she gets at lump in her chest when she imagines him with another.
