I remember Toonami really didn't do openings and did this as an opening then went straight into the show.
And this was the ending for wing, it was just a guitar version of Just One Beat which is the real opening but it was a pretty awesome close.
It was similar with Rurouni Kenshin, Ronin Warriors, Outlaw Star, DBZ, I remember they left Sailor Moon alone and let them do that enlgish opening one.

Honestly, Japanese ones.but the Ben 10 is also good in someway. But the problem that I don't like is american cartoons "usually" use "clips" from the show, so no actual effort to make a nice OP sequence. in other words "Copy-paste and make a slide show with some music"
This, and after I watched several Japan OPs, my taste for opening changed.

Not because I'm a weeaboo, but because most regular American Cartoons use snippets from the shows. They should watch a few anime or visual novel openings and learn how to do it.

Well to be fair, they are trying to appropriate one culture's ideas and lyrics/images into what's popular in the other culture. So they gotta change some things.
Plus, the original will always be better because it was made to follow the real content.

Jap or USA? hmmm. . . 70/30 cuz I watch waaaay too much anime than cartoons so I don't have the right to judge cartoons nowadays.
Did watch these "new" cartoons from nickelodeon. Gotta say the quality of cartoons are getting worse for nickelodeon. Half-assed stories, terrible or just plain incomplete drawings, disgusting color pallets. But hell if kids watch this shit I have no place to judge them. just my opinion is all
