Its my favorite anime, but I can see how the aimless talking gets on peoples nerves, I personally like it, I can watch it while doing something else and still understand whats going on

You have to have your eyes glued to the screen as they are talking a mile a minute in order to read the subs. Unless of course you happen to be fluent in Japanese =O

I have the English dubbed version on my psp

Lucky star is actually pretty good with dubbing. I think it is just as good as the subbing. I like both but either way is a fine way to watch the episode.

I personally got bored of it till the dub came out. Then it was watchable, and I thought it was ok. Nothing special, but nothing bad.
