[Anime] Akame ga Kill!

People who always whine about how the edginess of this adaption keep crushing their expection of a happy ending for everyone better stay off the original work at all cost

That death was bullshit


What I like about the original ending
-Certain people surviving, especially the 3 girls who should've met Mr "DOG".
-Wild Hunt being non-non existent

besides that everything is meh after episode 19.

But those are the ones that were most exciting and what made me love Akame ga Kill :(

But yeah, the ending was horrid. This just became Black Butler all over again, with a mostly-bullshit original ending.

(Tatsumi's death scene was badass though. But then again, the manga's version of his death might even be more badass than it is)

Am I the only one who likes the ending?

Awful but I never held extravagant expectations for Akame ga Kill!(manga or anime) so not too important. To the anime's credit it managed to make some of the deviations from the manga plausible and the faithful reproductions were incredible at times(those soundtrack cue nailed it). Eh it was alright, that's all Akame ga Kill is anyways: a hair's breadth away from horrendous but it's quirks keep it from actually getting there.

The Majikoi spoof in the ONA theater 14 with Esdeath killed me. Miyako trap endings in a nutshell. Also these VN bgms are nuts.

Bohr's family confirmed chaste, that's all I care about.

I really liked this anime but it was really bittersweet.... Actually, more bitter than sweet.... Too bitter.... ;~;

I loved the Anime...just didn't like how everyone ended up dying ;-;
