Why is it that some people (like me ^^) like Anime so much more than real things in life like books, shows, movies, etc.?
Seriously, even in Porno. I'd prefer Anime Porno than the others.
It's just that there's something in Anime which reaches my interests than other things.
What do you think people?

Another thing about anime - it depicts things in life that would never happen in most cases. It depicts fantasies and dreams and aspirations of the human mind, something that reality often shunts away.
Then there's the animation aspect which ties into the fact that it's something perfect and inconceivable in the real world, which humans of all ages relate to.

@Everyone else: if anime had awesome bodies, you honestly think that that would be enough to attract people from all over the world? No, it's more than just the art style, it's whole package, from music to voice-acting to plot to character development to animation effects/style.

Anime has the crazy storylines that comic books have, but sense they're done with a more adult audience in mind, we can tell ourselves we're mature for watching anime instead of cartoons. =3

@Pocru: I'm not sure about the more adult audience part, but I do think that anime often has something to teach us, which makes it better than your average cartoon. Plus, an anime series ends, cartoons don't.

Well here is my take on how Anime attracts so many diverse people. Like myself we all have our taste such as action/adventure, romance, comedy ect. If we see a series that has certain elements in them like a solid story and characters that we can relate to the yeah I will check out the blogs, reviews and such and if those reviews are good then I will buy the whole series.
Anime is a release of imagination and creativness that brings characters that will make us laugh, cry, cheer, or flap to (HEE, HEE, HEE. Of course we cant forget that animation can get away with things that you dont normally see on a regular TV show such as sex, tentical action, yuri, yaoi and the such so yeah I love Anime, I love Hentai.
What can I say that Anime/Hentai are stories and fantasies that manifest into what creators think the audience wants to see. I myself have collected a vast amount of dvds over the course of ten years and is still growing.
With that here are my final thoughts: Anime is a artform that the masses can enjoy and talk about over the web such as this website (YOU GUYS ROCK AT FAKKU!) and that as long as there is a story to tell Anime will be an outlet for those stories can be created, be it Anime or Hentai.

As for character flaws, the things we see in anime are very cut clear. In real life, wouldn't it be awesome to know our and other character's flaws and by "shonen spirit" and "hard work" we can overcome it? Well, it doesn't work like that in real life, and anime bridges our wants and desires into a viewable format.

I agree with you in every word you said.I was watching anime since 20 years ago and I still do.True, I love watching the reality. Scientific programs and films of course.But the anime is the first in the list. Why

[color=blue]3.[/color] And the best is anime girls and the most beautiful from actual girls.
Even in porn. Anime porn provides a better and more dramatic than the real porn.

@ g-money: Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have been watching anime since i was a wee lad of 14 and was introduce to the wonderful world of hentai at 16. Let me be the first to say that without anime I think my life would have been very dull.
I also want to add to this discussion that in Hentai anything goes, there is no limit to what the imagination can do. All you need is a story, plot, beautiful girls, and of course the crazy sex all thrown in the mix.
I consider Hentai to be a artform that entertains us to what we could not or even try to do in a live action film (although it has been done by the La Blue Girl live action trillogy).
So I say long live Hentai and to all those who create, imagine, and entertain us keep them comming.
