He keeps trying to leave his past behind him, but he keeps acting like that around her so it doesnt solve his problem, also, you just dont hit pillow chan
This episode was very middle of the season like. Just a little tiny bit more "development" in the Rikka/Yuuta relationship. They set up some expectations with the summer vacation. Overall I'd say this episode was weaker than the rest, but at the same time had less cringe worthy moments as the first few ones did for me. The whole overreaction with the cutie poll and then treating the hair cutting like a seppuku was a bit much, but the sarcasm of it all fit better than the usual tone of the series.
The Dekomori/Nibutani relationship is still annoying to me, but this episode it was stuck to the background, which imo is better. The ones who like it still have it available, the ones who don't can ignore it easily.
I have a faint fear that they'll make Nibutani the love letter author. I know it doesn't make much sense but it is just the kind of mind-f thing some manga/anime's with poor writing like to do from time to time. Nothing in this episode or any of the others has led to it, but I'm just suspect of plots that are not concerned much with things making sense.
Incoming swimsuit episode. I'm thinking the next ep will be beyond that though, there was too much foreboding. Yuuta, if that hand hold wasn't more of a reason to hug her, I don't know what is.
We never did find out who's crushing on Isshikei either. I was hoping it was Nibutani for some reason.
The part with Rikka and Togashi holding hands was intense. And Isshiki is a bro for taking all the blame and then shaving his hair. Next episode looks interesting, I want to see why Touka was so serious about Togashi going with her and Rikka on summer vacation.
I was laughing throughout the episode, it's a good one. The little things that the characters do in the background is hilarious (Dekomori slamming into doors, that girl getting scared off by isshiki's shouting, etc etc) too.
That hand holding scene, I got goosebumps. Also, dat kuumin intro.
What a clever hand-holding trick. Nibutani must have felt horrible after Isshiki heard so much thanks to Deko (who continues to be the most fun). The beach episode cometh.
Deathmori did not have it so easy this time. She had to deal with the power of milk and an ambush. But the Dark Flame Master put an end to that quickly. Watching Isshiki hop over the rolling Shinka was hilarious.
