People commit suicide all the time, is it really all that big of a deal? Anime could be related to it, but there could've been other motivations for her going to Japan. I think its worth noting that she didn't send the suicide note. That means that she could have just run away to start a new life, as opposed to killing herself.

not really, seen that happen so many times on japanese sites, so many school girls getting raped and banged in bathhouses, this is actually one of the reasons i really detest japan, did you know u can buy hentai there when u are 15, of course the law won't allow u to, but u do know what i mean right, secret passage ways and stuff like that.

Dailf, you've got a point. In Japan, you can even buy hentai vids, AVs, and sex toy accessories in vending machines - it's totally true, besides from the fact they sell canned oxygen. (I'm like "wtf?") I also read an article about a rape organization in Japan called Super Free. The ringleader and henchmen were prosecuted for 5 raping incidents, but there were probably over 500 rape incidents that can be attributable to them. This was pretty recent too, in the 2000s. Reason the Strike Freedom Gundam was named like such instead of "super freedom" was due to this incident.

you have to understand that the cultural differences between wherever you live now and japan are most likely substantial. sexual education isnt taboo untill a certain age, its common knowledge. there are monthly hentai magazines whos targeted sales are children, and the only difference between these manga and there adult oriented counterparts is a much stricter foundation of censoring. its possibly due to this freedom of sexual expression that there are actual groups dedicated to rape... thats pretty horrible, but the karmas always there. there was actually a hentai made about train rape called g-spot express, and i know all of its completely fictional... but it expresses a good point that most rape occurences have repeating circumstances that are easy to indicate like location or time... and yet a countless amount of woman dont take the advice to heart and end up becoming victims. the hentai also expressed the thought of it some woman possibly enjoyed the encounter. s&m's quite popular today, and whats more massocistic then being raped? its hardly possible, but theres all kinds out there.

Jokes aside, she sounds like an idiot. It's sad her life wasn't turning out but killing yourself when you're still in high school after only failing a few classes is incredibly pathetic. High school doesn't mean fuck all and there are enough successful people that dropped out of it that if you don't feel like you need to be there and have a plan then you can quite possibly make something out of your life. You might not pull a Bill Gates (I know he's a Uni dropout but it's an analogy) but you can stay alive without finishing high school.

lol blind you got that right. hell until senior year i was failing at least 3 classes per six weeks(our grading periods are six weeks here in florida idk bout other places). and now im out and gonna go to college when classes start(fall). alot better reasons out there to go all emo on people than bad grades. then again i know a few people that have had to take therapy because of their parents had this thing where they would like completely rape their self esteem and feelings of self worth just because of bad grades. i guess my point is that we dont have the whole story so perhaps she was just in need of help for something other than being depressed over bad grades.

It seems like a rather atypical high school depression. Unless there's some ridiculous rape trauma or something I'd figure she just felt alone and that doing crappy in school became an extension of it that started feeding into it as well. I don't fault her entirely but my crappy (and almost finished!) time in high school hasn't made me sad at all.
