If you're a guy, which 99.9% of the forum are, then I see no problem in fending for yourself, especially when rapists in Japan are male usually.

I'd be happy if a woman raped me... provided she doesn't do anything else like torture or murder. Most rapists don't kill nowadays, though that's not something I'd count on in the first place.

Yes, it's a bit ironic, Labeled as highest life expectancy, but also labeled as highest suicide ratio.

Japanese people seems to easily give up their own life nowadays. With heart-broken,money-broken, or any other cases (Correct me if I'm wrong about this).

from what i know,they believe of Reincarnation (in their religion. whether it's Shintoism or Buddhism). if they dies,they soul will be born into the world again. maybe this is why they give up their soul so easily.. (this is my opinion according to my research)

I don't know what book or text you've read, but suicide is a one way ticket to hell. There is NOTHING brave about taking your own life, rather one is brave by living everyday and facing challenges that life throws at you. Suicide in the Buddhist philosophy is highly frowned upon and puts you in hell for a good amount of time before being reincarnated into a shitty life. Suicide = ridiculously bad karma. And yes, there is a "hell" according to Buddhist philosophy, but not-so permanent as Christian "hell".

Hmm, I never heard about this. Also, I don't think that this is the first time its happened. Crazy shit happens in Japan, what is there to say that people don't go over there to be part of it, even if it means committing suicide.
