ive been throwing stories out the window ever since BRS but Hyouka seems to offer something good. gonna watch it til the end

Episode 5

Spoiler:
The highlight of this episode is in the end. (Watch it and you'll see why)
"Ice Cream" > "I Scream". I see what you did there.

I'm at the moment uninterested in the story (but as you said Kaimax, this is just the beginning), what really caught my eye (even from the beginning) is the unusual but good animation. It really stands out.

Almost thought the anime ended at episode 5 for a few seconds. I wonder where things will go from here.

Just finished read the light novel. KyoAni is really superb at handling the animation

Have to say I'm really enjoying the series so far. The effects they are using visually really do look nice. Plus really those crazy eyes of Eru keep me coming back XD.

Wow, I can't get enough of this show. Chitanda is ridiculously cute and Houtarou is a very likeable MC. There's not really much of a plot but I rather like the short mysteries in each episode. The "mystery" in this episode took a really mundane/ordinary occurrence and found a way to complicate it and make it more interesting. That's one of the things I really like about this show. Oh and...

Animation wise yes. But there's yet any interesting story in sight.

Another good episode in my opinion. I love how this show keeps it classy. The whole hot spring scenario could have easily turned into some ecchi nosebleed fest but they played it off rather well.

Now time for some screens of Chitanda being a babe.

I can certainly respect an anime that produces an equal amount of fanservice for both genders.

I really enjoy what little mystery they deliver with the scenarios, and the crazy answers behind them.... It's like another Paradox Blue.
