An anime adapted from a visual novel, by Sprite, of the same name, Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate is scheduled for airing in the Summer season of 2012. Perhaps our fellow Fakku members, Kaimax and Klown, are able to provide some reviews with regards to its visual novel counterpart?
Based on what I have read thus far, from various sources, the male protagonist, Oojima Yuuki, is a member of the Food Research Club, together with the featured female characters. However, when the next election of the student council president draws near, the Food Research Club finds itself in trouble, especially since one of the potential candidates announces she will abolish all clubs with no merit nor active events. Yuuki then decides to run in the election of the student council president! What adventures awaits him?

I believe there will be some ecchi fanservice involved, and hopefully, Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate will surpass expectations! :)

If they're going for Chisato's route (aka Main heroine), it'll be unlikely. I've finished the visual novel quite sometime ago and it not a moe feast [size=1]fraking k-on[/h] more of a sob story to some degree. Sprite did quite a good job for a debut game. The game's artwork is certainly amazing to boot.
Well, this series is certainly bi-polar. Girl gets hit by a car while spying on backdoor deals, then we get the usual RomCom club antics. Also, propeller ahoge and mouth-moving mask are just odd. I pray the plot doesn't turn serious.
At first I thought it was gonna be pretty interesting, but then we got to the main characters and as the episode continued I was left less than pleased. I'll bare the characters and give it one more shot, just because the whole student council thing seemed kinda interesting.
ep 1. due to the first few scenes, im bound to follow this no matter how crappy it turns out. well, if it gets crappy when the truth is out then i might as well drop it.
hadena for me castor. it turns great for my wide screen
The student council appears to be pretty intense at this school. I might play the VN after the anime has ended because some of the girls look interesting. Especially Michiru. Apparently the beer tap is okay too.
the first part of the episode grabbed my attention and the rest held me to wanting more, lets hope for more comedy because that whole bit with the yaoi stick had me roaring!
With all those hits from girls Oojima may have suffered some brain damage since he talked himself into the position he did not initially want. Michiru continues to be ray of light censored. Shinonome seems really laid back for someone involved in the stuff from the first episode. I was expecting someone more like the student council president, minus the bodyguards.
Hmmm this show is interesting. Only in anime do childhood friends wake you up in the way that Chisato wakes Oojima up (she pretty much gets on top and rides him). So far this show is funny, cute, and oddly serious at times. It's good though so I'll keep watching for now. Also the gay guy is pretty funny. The yaoi sticks made me lol.
