[Anime] Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate (Summer 2012)

So, let me see if I got this right. Satsuki was a whores daughter, and wanted to keep it a secret, but Sensei was the actual whore daughter, was given to the first mom who croaked, whore mom moved in, and then had Satsuki, so they both have the same mom...damn confusing melodramatic bullcrap.

loved Chisato getting shot down like that. Awesome.

I wonder who Oojima is gonna end up with? Also there was multiple times during that episode where I wish the animation studio would've been like "fuck it, we're doing a full hentai scene". My hopes were built up and then crushed in the first minute of the episode.

Oh yeah, Public Safety Dudes putting the snobby bitches in their place. Like a boss. Speaking of the Public Safety Dudes, this Oosawa chick gives me a bad feeling. She's gonna be trouble. And even though she was being an overly emotional, petty bitch, Chisato had a point. Being reactionary in defending a minority because you know one would be a bad move politically. And...holy shit, did Oojima just get nailed by a truck?! Holy crap. I thought the episode was set to end on a comical note, then...damn.

I believe that we'll find out the truck just misses him, but due to him getting hit a a child causes Chisato to finally crack and break down. They were foreshadowing her becoming more and more unstable the whole episode.

All right, Oojima! Not only does he call Chisato out on her selfish crap, he gives that oh so well deserved smack. Man, that was awesome! Serves the mopey bitch right. And Morshita is a spy? Man, that sucks. I liked her, and she's been a spy the whole time? Bitch.

I wish Oojima would smack those two chicks in the club. Red hair and blue hair. That crack about "I feel sorry for the guy who hit him" is just beyond bitch.

For overly attached Chisato, she deserves that. Being treated as a replacement (all the years of being treated as a different person, thats why he is adamant on correcting his name) was harsher than a physical hit.

First the sweet rejection, then the Oojima pimp hand.

My God, Chisato is a self absorbed whiner. "Oh, my dead brother can't be happy, so I'll be a clingy, possessive annoyance. He'd want that." Oh, and nice of Mifuyu to back her up on her bullshit. Speaking of Mifuyu...that's it? For God's sake, I've got a scar bigger than that from a freaking bike wreck. Hell, I had to pause the video, cause you could barely see the thing. And the mock wedding ceremony...my God, they just demolished any potential of him picking someone else with that "I just never realized I was in love" crap. Couple all that with Morishita's magic, coma healing harmonica, and the stupidity is too much.

Once again I have to wonder what kind of school this is where the student council is worth so much. That aside the thing with the harmonica and the song was introduced and completed way too fast. Is that even part of Chisato's route in the VN?

The ending was satisfying. Yuki won the election and got the girl in the end

The ending was good. Ooshima's speech was solid too. Happy ending. Now to wait for a VN translation or learn japanese

Am I the only one who thinks that the school political system is not over the top?

I mean, take America, the biggest problem with the right to vote in America is that a great majority in the country don't use it. Of course, I doubt this is a public school, but this complex political system does interest people in voting and getting the proper representation you need. Take my high school for example, when I became a senior, Leadership (the student governing body) appointed our president, we only got to "vote" on the vice president, in what way is that representative of the people, and in government class that year, it was hammered again and again that young people don't vote enough, and aren't interested in the system because they believe they won't make a difference.

Here's the solution, of course not every school is like mine, but if in moderation (no big polar parties like in this anime), it has the potential to make sure that when you graduate high school, you will be a good and learned citizen.

And by the way, good ending, and I very much enjoyed this anime. Shame on the people who dropped this anime simply because they thought it was over the top.
