Anime losing influence in America?

Meh, animes of TV sucks anyway, it's way better on the internet. Though it is annoying when people doesn't know shit about animes and just blatantly insults it.

Meh, it's just my opinion.
I just really hate the majority of Anime that comes on TV.
I think anime becomes really cheesy and lame once it hits TV.
Probably due to the dub.

Personally I think that everyone that does watch anime know to just go online to stream or download it... So ratings in America are in decline since everyones watching on their computers.

Almost everyone here in the UK is aware of Pokémon, Yu-gi-oh!, Digimon and Bleach, and have seen a few episodes of the less commonly-shown-on-TV Cardcaptors (The English version of Cardcaptor Sakura) when it was shown on CITV. Those were the days.

Everyone here liked at least one anime series in their childhood, but don't watch anime now. I only know a handful of people who are fully into anime.

Nope. Econ 101 demand falls prices go up. Except in japan... they go up because they know otaku will pay a hundo for a dvd of 2-3 eps of a current season.
