Anime reboots?

I still can't believe you guys haven't mentioned Casshern: Sins.

Yeah, it'd be great to see all the stuff that happened in the manga animated. The anime was really good except for the last few episodes, when they made their own ending. Hopefully when the manga is close to ending, a reboot will be made.

I'm all for reboots because even if they suck, you still have the first series. Nothing can be lost, except another chance to make something great.

I've also yet to be disappointed with anime remakes. But I don't think some "reboots" qualify. DBZ Kai is exactly the same as the original, except it has no fillers and has some remastered art.

There are a whole bunch of reboots I'd like to be made. At the top of my list is Samurai Deeper Kyo. The original anime was a complete piece of crap. It did not do justice to the awesomeness of the manga.

Are they still doing it or not or have they dropped it. Seems like years waiting for the next one.

Any Good anime that never finished it's story needs a reboot or a continuing if the original was good enough. I'm sick of watching an anime and it ends with out the story actually ending even more annoying if it feels like the story is just beginning.

Well, it is an OVA, not a series and of course it's going to be full of waiting. They've just released the 8th.

Amen to that. I never watched the original but God, the remake was fabulous. I have to re-watch it one of these days >_<

Also, a remake of the original MS Gundam and Zeta Gundam with the graphics and animation quality of Unicorn would be amazing.

Well i haven't seen any other reboot than FMA brotherhood+Hellsing ultimate and i have to say that the animation is a lot better than the original(great quality of art). As for any anime that i'd like to see a reboot of that would be hunterXhunter which is actually going to happen! and if it is anything like FMA and Hellsing then it's going to be awesome :)!!!

I say they need a Negima reboot. Its one of the best shounen mangas out there with a perfectly good plot, no bad plot twists or deus ex machinas, its long enough to have no fillers, and its main characters/side characters are a whole lot better than those from Bleach and Naruto.

This. And to please have Sayla play the role she was supposed to play in Zeta. I know she was supposed to do a hell of alot more than what she was given.

Yeah, I'd love to see some more Zeta-era Sayla. I think I heard that her voice actress was sick when the show was being recorded, so they couldn't get her to do the voice, but that might have been the case with ZZ instead.

I'd love to see a Gundam movie following the plot of the novel (or three novels, whatever) that Tomino wrote. It has a lot of interesting things that weren't included in the anime at all, such as Sayla's talisman (some of her pubic hair, wink wink).

Sayla's voice actress was away from Japan when Zeta was being produced, thus the lack of Sayla speaking in that show. Also, she died in 2003, so if hey ever do a remake of Zeta or the original show, they're going to find a new voice (for her and for Bright Noa as well =|).

A reboot i would like to see is Sonic X remade with more of a action like style and a black cat remake because the animation was not that good and i dont think it followed the manga (I haven't read all of the manga so i cant say its true or not)

I would like to retract my previous statement, Hellsing OVA, Eva Rebuild and Brotherhood arn't good because they add to the original, no they're good because they are BETTER than the original. Hellsing OVA is soooooooo much better than Hellsing TV, Eva Rebuild not only makes the characters better, but also is (so far) using a story the easier to understand and doesn't sound like Anno just pulled it out of his ass (okay that's a little unfair to the original, but we all know it's somewhat true). Brotherhood is better than the original and that is definitely saying something considering that the original was a masterpiece on it's own. So yeah reboots (usually)=good thing.

I welcome Anime reboots cause they usually are better than the originals, or have a more developed story to work with, just like happened with FMA: brotherhood. I'd love to see a reboot of gantz, now that the story has developed a lot in the manga. Also, as an impossible dream I'd love an slam dunk reboot.

A reboot I would like to see would be Rosario + Vampire. The reason I say this is because the manga is vastly superior to the anime for the simple fact that the story and characters actually change over time. I can't be the only one thinking this right?

A reboot short more violent version of Bleach.

Rosario+Vampire: Story is mixed up, way too much ecchi, less fighting, and pointless fillers.

Elfen Lied: Needs a reboot/continuation.

Reideen(2007) is ok... the romance in there never goes anywhere. Though I do like the design of 2007 Reideen more than Reideen the Brace or that other sentai Reideen.

Give me Reboots of Legend of Galatic Heroes or BlackJack with more new episode. Those two series is god piece.

I would personally love a reboot of Rurouni Kenshin, Soul Eater, D. Gray man, And im kinda 50/50 on this but I think if they remade Samurai Champloo with better animations it would be fucking glorious. Dont get me wrong, it was amazing as it was, But Like if they buffed up the art style a bit I think it would look AMAZING.

But then again, samurai champloo was already a masterpiece.
