I hope that they don't make the manga just 51 chapters though, since the anime is going to be just 51 episodes. About the anime, their seems to be two versions of it, is their really any difference? The only difference i found was just the beginning where it said the late night show. Is it supposed to be less censored?

Two things I hate in this anime:
1. Their nose
2. Maka's voice
Overall I like the animation of soul eater. The style is somewhat similar to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
PS: Never thought Chrona was a guy

Hmmmm in the manga they point out shes a girl, but only when Medusa says that shes my daughter -_-
Whats wrong with their noses? lol

According to Rumbel's subs, Chrona is a guy (Maka refers to Chrona as a "He").
Now that I think about it, Medusa did say that Chrona is her daughter.
That's it! I shall stop downloading Rumbel's releases! They're not just slow but also inaccurate! There's not that much difference in the late night show version anyway.

Lol it's not that there that bad of a sub group but your right they do take awhile -_- and I think they do refer to her as a male at first but once Medusa says "she my daughter" they start addressing her as a "her"
Also i know some people have noticed already, but I find it very funny that they use historical characters in the characters names. Like Al Capone, Death the Kid(Hopefully you noticed it's a play on words with Billy the kid) And The master thief Lupin which is based off the real thief Lupin. I think there are some more but I don't know as of yet -_-

I love their noses and I love everything about Maka.
As for Chrona, the reason they said he is because that's the way Chrona refers to himself. I haven't read the manga so I don't know whether it's a guy or a girl. But I do know the subs weren't wrong because Chrona uses the male way to to talk about himself.

Watched episode 7 again just now. Chrona refers to herself by using "boku wa" so I guess its not the translator's fault. Guess I was too hasty in judging the subs.

On other news, dattebayo (the naruto/bleach subbers) did a really funny troll for episode 10. They named it naruto soulpudden 63. They obviously dont like this series, but the time and effort they put into mocking it did result in a few funny moments.
At the moment whilst i like the artistic direction its taking i find this anime very slow to develop its characters. Though im intreged as to shinigami samas real role in the program. Possible baddie?

Remidns of the Ban "Gorillaz" combine it with Vinnie Veritas CCC City (View on Newgroudns.com and search CCC) and we have this.the way they look when in battle is ah.....i'm speechless about it.
