Huh, was it really Haruto doing the raping, or the other way around? Rukino's always had that jealous look when she sees Shoko x Haruto, maybe she raped Haruto (or let Haruto rape her) to get one up on Shoko?

Am I the only one who somehow enjoyed that scene? Rukino could have used some more expression instead of the look of pity. Also, she looked somehow broken at the end but her features at the timeskip a few episodes back shows she gets better...

I think this rape scene is very effective. It's been a long time since we've seen rape in anime and I don't ever recall there ever being a rape scene between two of the main characters. Griffith and Casca aside. I think this scene conveys the shock a whole lot better than the one in Berserk because this one isn't particularly sexy or horrifying. Instead it just shows two broken characters who had something together but didn't go the way it should have. Also it shows Shoko being NTRed.
