So I decided to ask Lord_Helmchen to make a thread with a huge master list of anime! So help him out! When I have some time I'll go through what I've seen to confirm if it should be recommended. In the mean time, everyone help out if you can!

...Assuming "artistic" means an anime with a unique visual style. DEAD LEAVES is...well, it's DEAD LEAVES. Kai Doh Maru changes it's visuals as it goes, and Gankutsuo looks like it was made with stained-glass windows.
