Bleach 390

Once again, disappointing chapter. All flash; no substance. I find it amazing how Gin can use so many words and still say absolutely nothing of importance.

You beat me to this topic; I was editing the image for it. :-P

So Komamura jumps in to aid Hitsugaya but gets his arm cut off. Rōjūrō & Love then jumps in but you already know that they won't do much. I like how Gin is watching from a distance sort of narrating things.

Sure he did. Gin did a good job of illustrating that everyone attacking Aizen up until this point are a bunch of idiots for underestimating Aizen's strength. Honestly, why the fuck does SS seem to think that he's weak without his shikai active?

That... was probably the worst chapter of Blech I've read yet.
The narrative was just thrown in to fill up the rest of the chapter...
I don't like how Aizen's still basically invincible. Ichigo isn't much stronger than the captains, really, and since Aizen's raping everyone so bad, Ichigo won't do much better.

Gin sighting. I bet here people thought Gin was going to cut Hitsugaya in half when they showed Gin.

That's what I was hoping for. Komamura losing an arm wasn't expected or liked for me (I like the guy, what can I say)

Really wanted another "Shoot that Punk" from Gin

Bleach should end with Aizen as the victor xD

Worst chapter of Bleach? I thought this was the best chapter in a while.

Badass fighting and stuff actually happening to the characters. No substance? No, that's nearly every other fight chapter, where characters swap blows but neither is seriously injured. Shit actually happened in this chapter - Komamura lost an arm and may be very close to death. (He probably won't die, but still.) The narration was pretty stupid - "Aizen is the strongest," but at least Kubo actually wrote something. There are too many chapters that take two minutes to read because it's just pictures.

Although, because he has made Aizen so strong, I expect Aizen's end to be really shitty. It'll either be a cop-out like Aizen letting himself die or Ichigo gaining an immense amount of power, for no reason.

Or someone even stronger will pop outta nowhere and kill him, thus starting another 2 year story arc of them trying to kill the next guy.

That actually wouldnt suprise me...

Chapter summary:

Captains and Vizers attack.

Captains and Vizers get owned.

Gin tries his best to explain to them that they just got owned.

Aizen is OP.

Remember Old man Yamamoto? I herd this guy is pretty good. Kubo just like to shove him in this random situation to show he can't help out Ichigo + crew.

I actually forgot about the old man.

If all his subordinates are charging at Aizen - the main enemy - why the hell wouldn't he charge in, too?

I can understand that Kubo may be saving him for something, but it just makes no sense.
