Do you see a pattern? I hate when the supporting female character that has feelings for the main character gets in the way of them becoming a true badass. It gets annoying after a while.

Utsumi (Good Ending)
There are times Utsumi acts more afraid in GE than Yukiteru does in Mirai Nikki. The difference being when Yukiteru is afraid its because he may die. Utsumi is afraid of talking to people that he might have awkward conversations with. In fact, if Utsumi told his problems to Yukiteru, Yukiteru may just tell Utsumi to stop being spineless.
I don't mind that Utsumi is shy around people he has crushes on, dislike awkward environments, and can't sort out his feelings for peanuts. After 111 chapters of this shit you think he would have developed further than that. There have been several "misunderstandings" that could have easily been avoided, actually 99% of people would have avoided them, and somehow he manages to be the person who is hurt because of them.

Kikyo from Inuyasha, I loathe her with a passion. She's a fudging zombie! I mean come on, just die already! Not to mention she uses the souls of innocent women to sustain her crumbling body! She's a nasty, persistent, grudge holding, clay pot!

My least favorite anime characters of all time?
They all fall under the same completely misused archetype. Before I name the characters, I'll name the archetype. It's the goody two shoes female protagonist that gets other characters into a lot of trouble for the purpose of serving her own selfish wants while being mostly useless by herself. Why is this a misused archetype? Because the character is labeled a "protagonist". There is nothing inherently wrong with this personality (although maybe you could argue it's sexist), except that it makes EXTREMELY convincing villains (or if you really want, anti-heroical protagonists). The fact that Japan considers this a remotely viable personality for a main good guy protagonist is baffling.
Now characters who fit this most despicably undesirable role?
Kirino from Ore no Imouto is probably by far the most recognizable of the ones I will name. Everything about her is completely despicable and an insult to the representation of Anime/eroge fans. She is vile, conniving, ungrateful, and selfish. And literally nobody reprimands her for it. A better story for Ore no Imouto would be one which demonstrates how society scorns and cracks down on ingrates like her. Instead she is rewarded for being cruel, aloof, and vicious towards those around her.
Kobato from Kobato. is a more ditsy example of the selfish goody two shoes that is passed off as naive as an excuse for completely unacceptable actions. She never is reprimanded and she never develops outside of being the selfish and ditsy goody two shoes that she starts out as. She continues creating grand schemes that are supposedly meant to help people, but instead what she actually does forces innocent people to clean up after the messes she leaves behind in her wake. That's pretty villain like if you ask me. Only the story of Kobato. forces itself to portray Kobato herself as a good guy, so thus nobody acts like she does anything wrong.
Mihoshi from Sora no Manimani is basically a carbon copy of Kobato only in an astronomy themed show that actually teaches extremely little about astronomy and instead goes into pointless slice of life bullshit involving Mihoshi causing shenanigans and messing around with poor innocent people.

I hate female characters who are complete bitches to the main lead and then expect him to love them somehow. Also Kyubey from Madoka (evil bastard among evil bastards), Kikyo from Inuyasha (how long does it f*cking take for her to die!?) and Matou Shinji (tremendous psychotic douchebag, the main reason why Sakura got all mindbent and shit).
