Chrome Shelled Regios

It appears that quite a number of anime titles for the upcoming winter season has already been covered, which is a good sign, since it indicates that more members are taking note of the "Specific Anime Series" section. Anyway, long story aside, I shall be introducing the title "Chrome Shelled Regios" for today, since I have a bit of time before I head to bed. Do bear with any mistakes I may make with its introduction, since my knowledge of Japanese is limited to a few kanji characters. Like other action, high-school themed anime, such Tenjo Tenge and Ikkitousen, Chrome Shelled Regios features martial arts and most likely battles between students, since there is a mention of different teams, notably the 17th, where the main protagonist comes in. However, it appears that the setting for Chrome Shelled Regios takes place in the future, including the use of technology (and weapons) in the various combat scenes, unlike the typical Japanese setting which most of us are familar with. The main reason why I may be watching Chrome Shelled Regios: -As some of you may already know, I am not exactly a big fan of the action genre in anime, but those featuring schoolgirls are an exception. With schoolgirls, the likelihood of ecchi fanservice scenes tends to increase too. :D The following are images courtesy of http://anime.webnt.jp/regios. Personally, I feel that the costume design has been nicely done, though it could be my schoolgirl fetish clouding my judgement. Anyways, I'm in awe. They've actually managed to butcher the ending far beyond my wildest nightmares. WOW!
eeee ... yes ... that's about all I have to say about the final episode. On to the ...

In all honesty i was pretty happy with the series overall but the way they left it at the end leaves a lot of questions unanswered, so i get the feeling that they are gearing up for a second season or an OVA at best. But anyways i hope they come out with a second season soon.

Sweet FUCKING GOD! THey took one of my fav animes of all time and butchered the ending sooooo horribly , i mean first of all!

The season seemed, to me, to start off slow and end quickly. It left alot of stuf in the open so im praying for a second season so that there isn't all the unexplained shit floating in the air.
