Clannad After Story

I just finished watching the last episode with my gf. This was a picture of our reaction at the end.

Well considering I hate Nagisa & Hate her arc I can't comment on it being more emotional.

Based on the VN's I've played they've always held far more emotion to me, if you can get into all the reading, I guess...

As for Kyou arc, it was "ok" but it hardly did the arc any justice, but they did do a good job of packing it into 20 minutes.

But I really liked a point that the last episodes made. Tomoya thought it would be better had he and Nagisa never met. But even after all that pain to the point it killed him, he still had to call out to her at the bottom of the hill because he loved her that much.

And getting a Gf isn't that hard, there are lots of girls that are desprate for guys, who never get asked out because guys are to scared too ask them. What is hard is finding a person that you'll fall in love with ;)

I've played the VN and watched the animes, and I liked the animes much better. It might be that I really don't like VNs all that well (even though of the handful that I have played Clannad was my favorite.) I just love the anime. Nothing makes me happier than be able to laugh my ass off one moment, and then the next be crying my eyes out. I never did that with the VN.

For me it depends, with Clannad, i had originally played the VN first and finished all of it with all its glory. (1 week of very little sleep -.-) I admit, i bawww'd a few times in the VN but the anime really made me bawww at the key points(no pun intended.)

I think part of it was i already knew what was going to happen so the anticipation of it already had me in a bad mood and pretty much ready to fully unleash manly deluges of testosterone from my eyes. By playing the VN first, i believe it actually enhanced the emotion for me while watching the Anime.

Another example on the opposite side is FSN, for me the anime just didn't do it, but at the end of the FATE route in the VN I couldn't help myself and the floodgates opened.

Did SS-Eclipse sub this one too?
Also, can anyone give me a download link (.avi), because I can't fucking find it anywhere!

As long as I see,there are no After Story movies in .avi extension .
At least,you gotta download from Youtube and the graphics are bad .

Actually there are, but it looks like they are all scattered and I can't consistently find AVIs by SS-Eclipse. I'll look around a bit, but if I can't find them all I'll upload them myself since I have them all by SS-Eclipse in AVI.

If so just let me know Adarac and I'll set something up because I prefer to only have them available for as long as you need to download them. I don't like having that kind of stuff up for long.

If you don't have a .mkv player i suggest using VLC player.
I rarely find a format that this player can not play and it's served me well,such as allowing me to crop my vids into 16:10 so i can enjoy my anime w/o letter boxing and such.

But,I hate mkv extension .
Better to have avi extension in every chapter and put it in my HD,since my original Clannad DVD is getting worse coz I always watch it.

No. Not VLC. CCCP is much better.

And Raven why do you hate mkv? It's the best format out there, imo.

coz,my computer is slow and some of my anime movies can't work together .

I had the same problem. That was the sole reason I switched to Linux. My computer is out of date, but it isn't incapable. It was with Vista though. Now I can watch h264 MKV anime no sweat. Stupid Windows.

Actually, I don't mind what format its in. I recently got a video converter that i completely forgot about. If anyone can find it subbed in any format, I'd gladly take it. Oh, and I mean SS-Eclipse subbed, if there are any.

Some people thinks that the ending is bad,coz the plot is too complicated,I think .
However,I like this one .
