well this has been out for a while, so i wonder why no one posted. clannad possesses infinite cuteness. the main character is a very distinctive and unique personality that seperates the story from a kanon rewrite. but right now at eps 8 or 9 the s**t is about to hit the fan.

Lol...I don't think the ED is bad. It's a good fit I think. The anime is good so far, one of the few that I'm actually keeping up with. The game is one of my favorites, so I've got high expectations for the anime as well :>

well, actually the main reason why I want to watch this series is because I heard Mamiko Noto will have a role here, and after some research I watched the ED theme song, which almost destroyed my brain for setting it in infinite loop for 24 hours, but after 3-4 episodes I find this amusing...
In the 6-7th episode KyoAni is trying to insert the drama, but IMO they are now reaping what they sow.. Their somehow excessive humor points make it rather difficult to change the mood. Some people find it amusing, though *shrugs*

something so surreal and peaceful about it... so i sequenced the song and i have it in MIDI :P
(the chorus part was difficult though, the other instruments were drowned)

This anime has got me hooked considering the random traits it possesses.

I've enjoyed Clannad so far, but it hasn't built the same kind of character attachment that Kannon was able to produce. Personally, a lot of the gags get in the way... but then again, the only other anime based off of a Key game I've seen is Kannon (2006), but I easily fell in love with that, while Clannad seems to be taking a little bit longer. Hopefully the arc that is currently developing will lead to a bit more serious drama (and maybe Okazaki will stop being so awkward around Furukawa when she's sad!).

I think the main character in this is a much more competent person than in most, erm, does this still qualify as a harem show? He manages to help out everybody without seeming like a player.
But you know... I have real issues with the art style for this! I mean... the girls... their eyes... are like on opposite sides of their head!
