There's no other ending, "THE" ending is Nagisa's true Ending, and I've never heard a KEY/Visual Art game have two endings for one girl.

Consider me confused.

From what I saw from the promo it definitely seems like they are going with the Nagisa ending, and don't seem to be changing it. They didn't give away much, but I get the feeling it will stay true to the movie and game in regards to her arc.

I was referring to the Tomoyo OVA in my post. And you are perfectly correct when you say the second season is the After Story part of the original Clannad game, playable only if you obtain all the 'souls' of the various routes in the game. It looks like I misread your post, probably after a long day.

Watched the 24 episode, "Tomoyo Edition" and I feel SATISFIED!
Well, I'll be more satisfied if they make all the story from "Tomoyo After" into a full season anime. 13 episodes will be probably enough.

Aside from squeezing one full arc into a 25 minutes episode, they did a pretty good job about that.

Agreed, was fairly well done, even with the huge gaps and lack of any other girls showing up. I wish it was an OVA series instead though, or a movie at least, but oh wells, was still good to see the Tomoyo (I think the most popular Clannad char) arc animated.

I was mildly disappointed with it; for example, that breakup scene simply didn't have the same effect as the corresponding scene in the game. I almost cried when they broke up in the game, but with the anime I was all 'that's it'? I guess it might be because I already knew what would happen, or because they squeezed stuff too much, but it simply didn't fulfill my expectations.

But I totally agree with them animating Tomoyo After. My god, I'd import the DVDs from Japan if it's done well. 13 episodes should be more than enough, since it wasn't a very long game at all.



I believe the title of 'most popular Clannad girl' goes to Kyou, but I'm for Tomoyo all the way.

Really? Not that I followed it all that closely, and my fav char is actually Kotomi. I just always seem to see people talking about Tomoya more on most forums, but that may be due to the fact that she has her own sequel.

But yeah, I imagine the impact was lessened for you a bit because you already knew what was going to happen. But it's also somewhat like watching Serenity the Firefly movie. It was a good movie, but I was so bummed watching it because there were tons of stuff that I would have liked to have seen more fleshed out in TV episodes instead of all crammed in.

i think it was the fact you saw the break up coming.
as for me i pretty much broke into tears because, breakups like that are sad. i hate to see them and i hope to never experience one if i can.

So! I'm still downloading the game. But the game sounded so awesome that I decided to watch the Anime.

Very nice anime, just ended watching it, Made me cry more often than I thought it would...

Also... I am starting to think that I may be the only Nagisa fan in existence... but it matters not, since she is obviously the girl that could more easily catch Tomoya's affection anyway.

And is also very good to see an anime where the tsundere does not take the "Prize".

I never had a Anime kick my ass so hard since Kiminozo.

Oh man Clannad is such a great anime, I think theres a rumor saying theres going to be a second season...but anyways Clannad is awesome!

A rumor? I think it's pretty much official.

Yeah, i've heard/read that it'll be a Nagisa-thing~ which is pretty unsatisfying for me. Though would'nt stop me from watching it.
