Code Geass R2 Or Cowboy Bebop?

Code Geass R2; no contest for me.

Cowboy Beebop is one of those anime i cant watch for more than 2 mins.

Easily Cowboy Bebop. R2 was really a big failure, but that's comparing it to R1. Comparing R1 to Cowboy Bebop, I'd pick Cowboy Bebop, but barely. Besides, how many GAR characters are there in Code Geass compared to Cowboy Bebop? One, and that's Orange-kun.

Well...I never liked CG at all. CB was Ok during the season. The characters were entertaining enough. But the ending...oh the ending was SO FREAKING AWESOME. I've watched the ending of CB at least 16 times. It's sooooo great.

The thing is that CB only has 4 real recurring characters. That'll turn a lot of people off.

Lelouch and GAR do not mix. The same can be said with Spinzaku, though he has one moment and that would be his spin kick. Whoever thought Lelouch was GAR wasn't thinking. It's like saying Kira (either one) is GAR. It's just not true.

Cowboy Bebop has Spike, Jet, and Vicious as people I would consider GAR.

I would say Code Geass R2 but I didn't watch Cowboy Bebop, The anime may be old but doesn't mean it isn't good right? maybe I will check out Cowboy Bebop later but anyways Code Geass for now!

I'd agree on Suzaku not being GAR. The guy just wanted to die the entire anime. But Lelouch took over the WHOLE god-damn world! He also made "God" his bitch, and killed his immortal father and his own mother, whom he loved just as much as his sister, who was the reason for all of the above. I think he qualifies.

We can continue this GAR debate in the appropriate forums; I'm supporting Zaraki, so I'm not going to make a topic for Lelouch.

Despite the arguments for Lelouch, there's also the fact that he's physically weak and a shitty pilot. He's just a really good strategist and manipulator. He's smart and he's got his Geass, but he's not exactly what I'd call GAR, especially in the last episode.

Both series were excellent and personally I think they had pretty good endings but I have to side with cowboy bebop just because there is not a single episode I found boring or useless.
That and it has the legacy behind it - Over ten years and people are still watching not many shows can say that.

But then you realize ...

Just cuz he did all that doesn't make him manly. I clap for his success but it doesn't define his character.

Code Geass actually is my favorite anime ever! FAKKU has some good doujins about CG but very little in English. FYI, I hate Cowboy Bebop. My mind can't understand all the weirdness!
