does the mask change his voice? I thought it did and if it doesn't then people are less perceptive than they should be.

Well if you guys watch anime like me using a headphone i can pretty much guarantee you guys that , the helmet does fitted with a voice modulator, and by the way i really think that Suzaku is gonna snap into his evil side and get rid of Zero anyway he can even if it means using Nunally and Zero would have to kick his ass really hard to force him off-stage, not that it is perfectly good but i really do think that Suzaku's character might face a reset just like Zero and about Nunally's fate is still hard for me to predict yet, i used to be very treasure of her you know not letting her to die and all, but after seeing Nunally is being filled into the Euphia's post now i really feel like pulling the trigger, still i have to stand on Lelouch's side and get some will from him, but if she also is being abandon then sorry Nunally is been nice knowing you... *gun clocks* *bang*... well I imagine since C.C. was alright the gawaine will be as well; not sure if it will be upgraded though; as Diethard and Rakshata thought Zero may have been dead.

From what I read, according to Yukana, C.C.'s seiyuu, C.C. was crushed by the water pressure, but managed to surface. I guess the speculations about Gawain could be true though. It is said that it was presumed to be crushed as well, but you never know with anime.

It better. They have the set-up for a lot, lot of episodes without filler.

Then I guess we can assume the Gawain and Siegfried are gone, and that Orange-kun survived the same way as CC, except he probably had to swim what with his mechanical attachments and all. I'm sure being crushed by water pressure is a much more enjoyable experience than being cut up by a chainsaw, thrown in a suitcase, and re-attached later.

Does anyone else notice how much more detailed Zero's mask has gotten as the series progressed?

Well, throughout R1, CC was talking to herself on occasion. Around episode 20, there's a scene with CC standing alone in a hallway conversing with herself, then she says "Marianne". That's all, really.

As for Zero's helmet, it isn't more detailed, it's simply polished so light reflects better.

I'm not sure, because Siegfried is incredibly durable. It isn't technically a Knightmare, its classified as a Knight Giga Fortress, which kind of gives some hints towards the amount of punishment it can take. I'm not saying that it couldn't be crushed, the cockpit is very spacious and that could decrease its chances of withstanding the pressure.

As for Orange-kun surviving if he left the cockpit, in water pressure like that he's dead. The only reason why C.C. is alive is because she's immortal.

all speculation really; however I would love to see Gawaine come back and with some sort of upgrade. They mentioned that Gawaine was a prototype; what was it a prototype for? not the Knights of the rounds I assume; i believe they all existed far before the gawaine did.

There is a high probality that Gawaine is a knight mare frame for the emperor of the Britannia which is the fat ass we all see on the dang throne or a knight mare frame-in-progress for Knight of 1 in the ranks of Knight of Rounds...

You have a point there about the Siegfried, and it has a round shape, so it might have been able to withstand the pressure. In case you forgot though, the Siegfried was under the Gawain, so it would've been crushed first, and Orange-kun had experimentation done to him. So I'm thinking that Orange-kun has a Highlander-like immortality. After all, the Siegfried was created for someone like CC to pilot.

@ Arizth: No matter how I look at it, the mask doesn't appear any more detailed than before. It simply has an unusual shine to it.

The spikes are longer, bloom and reflection mapping was added, the front of the mask is distended, and it overall looks more like an evil crown.
