Kallen getting energy drained and mechatied up...poor girl. She fucked up, big time, and didn't even blow that many people up.

Lelouch is just too used to fighting on 'artificial' ground. He thought that the water itself would hinder his troops' movement, but he didn't expect the soil to give way like that. About Xingke, I doubt Lelouch could have persuaded him. Not only is Xingke on par with Lelouch's intellect, but he is capable of building an army himself, unlike Ougi and his group who needed Zero to reach out to others. As for Kallen, she blew up the air forces faster than you can say "Gawain". She was just the only one capable of taking the Shenhu, otherwise Zero's forces would have been quickly eliminated. The Shenhu is quite a fiendish machine though, to think that was only at 40%.

Considering Xing Ke doesn't have much time left in his life, it would of been a better plan to try and convince him that Zero could keep Tian Xi(sp?) free long after he passes away.

As a RTS, D&D, and Total War addict, I can safely say that unchecked battle elements, ANY elements, cost lives. Lelouch had a major oversight, and is paying for it, in the worst way possible:

I still say Kallen didn't get too many people...Did you see what the Main Guns did? THAT was blowing shit up. Kallen was launching fireworks in comparison.

Xing Ke may be intelligent, but as was mentioned, he seems to be suffering from "Die before the series lets out unless you turn to the enemy's side and side with them and get a magical cure and live happily ever after" syndrome, so we cannot count him only as a hindrance. He may be well become Ace #3, after Kallen and Toudou.

... who is the fake Lelouch. Is it really Ninja Sayoko? Let's not forget that purple-haired girl at Ashford. And also whether Kallen gets rescued, or if she remains captured and gets replaced by Rollo.

... But not because of Mordred. But rather s/he thought that Anya has an appearance similar to Marianne. The fact that she has a picture of young Lelouch seems to support it. The idea was: if she had a strong connection with Marianne or Lelouch, she might switch.

"Love Attack!" Expect harem antics, swimsuits, and girls getting shoved into tomato-filled containers.

We get a nice battle going, but it seems to be mostly humor in this episode. Todo fights Suzaku, Gino has a bone to pick with Xingke for being the one who defeated Kallen, and Anya gets to take on the Akatsukis. As CC gets close to the Mordred, her sigil mind fuck activates. Seems like Anya is somehow related to Lelouch. Lelouch demonstrates the Shinkiro's amazing AT Field- er, I mean, it's AP Field. Shinkiro is also capable of producing 5th Angel-level destructive powers by shooting out a crystal and refracting a laser through it. Meanwhile Kallen is delivered to the Britannians tied up with the Guren, and then she gets to don CC's old outfit.

Ninja Sayoko proves to be the fake afterall, showing that the technology of Britannia is not just limited to patching up a guy who was shot enough times to make swiss cheese. And she possibly kisses Shirley even though Rolo warned her not to step outside her bounds. Lelouch calls Shirley to ask for her advice involving love, and he seems confused up until a point. Shirley tells Lelouch about the power of love and instead of Lelouch thinking of CC or Kallen, he agrees with Shirley after thinking of Nunnally :lol: . Looks like Lelouch still doesn't quite get the difference between love of one's family and the love of others. We also get to see CC wearing a minimal amount of clothes. Let's not forget, the Student council has two new members ...

To sum it up: friendship with Xingke, the power of love, Ninja Sayoko, CC fanservice, Kallen bondage, and Eva references make this episode great.

In the next episode, Cornelia returns! And more Ninja Sayoko action! And maybe that purple-haired girl (Miya?) will get involved.

it makes me wonder what other skills Sayoko has...I saw the alliance and the broadcasting trick coming...

In the preview it shows Lelouch running at top speed, but i think that it's Sayoko thats doing that. So it looks like our little ninja also has ninja speed :D

though i don't really get what they've done to sayoko in order to becoming a ninja

since i cannot imagine her to let people "cut off" her breasts i can't understand that fact
i mean: look at her chest in R2 ep2 when diethard goes WTF when he saw zero then she disguises as lelouch ... weird fact indeed but whatever, i accept that
