here's the answer for the small voice:

In Europe, when women were not permitted to sing in church or cathedral choirs in the Roman Catholic Church, boys were sometimes castrated to prevent their voices breaking at puberty and to develop a special high voice. The first documents mentioning castrati are Italian church records from the 1550s.In the baroque music era these singers were highly appreciated by Opera composers as well. Famous castrati include Farinelli, Senesino, Carestini, and Caffarelli. Joseph Haydn was almost castrated. The last castrato was Alessandro Moreschi (1858-1922) who served in the Sistine Chapel Choir. However, in the late 1800s, the Roman Catholic Church, which had always considered castration to be mutilation of the body and therefore a severe sin, condemned the production of castrati; their castrations had been performed clandestinely in contravention of Church law.

@oldmanleroy: A sock is totally ineffective to gag someone. One can easily spit it out if it isn't restrained in some other manner.

They were enuch'd before developing a more male voice. But I don't know how Lelouch changes his own voice, since we see him taling with this tone once or twice while not wearing his helmet. And that's a helmet, don't even try convincing me it's a mask.

its easy to let your voice sound high or low ... i mean lelouchs seiyu is doing it quite nice (considering that he is awarded for the best main anime character role in 2007 *cough*)

Since last Ep. if been asking myself what they will do with Orange-Kun, make him into another Geass User maybe?
Up till now he has only been insane and hard to kill^^
Im a little bit disappointed how easily Britannia (forget the Pilots name) dealed with Xing Ke. After beating Kallen, i was expecting him to kick at least some Knight Asses ^^ By the way, about that Power of Love thing. Could it be possible, that Lelouche realized that he has feelings for Kallen ?
Edit: Ok my last question has been already asked somehow, but im not satisfied with the answers so far.

1. Orange looks like he will be a geass user; I don't know what else they could mean by what their conversation implied.

2. No, Lelouche clearly thought of his sister before he thought about Kallen/CC/Shirley... He still blurs the line between family love and love love... I guess it really doesn't matter though; he made the right decision making him seem more human. It may be a political bad move but i think it will help him secure the loyalty of the Chinese royalty assuming no one else tries to run the country as a puppet regime again.

About Orange-kun: He's probably a Geass user already. That mask conviently covers up his left eye, although it might be because that eye was mechanical and was damaged. If he isn't a Geass user, then he will probably gain semi-immortality and strange abilities akin to CC mind-fucking Suzaku in R1 through the Lancelot.

About Xingke: He may have had to worry about Shenhu's power running out. Last thing he wants to do is get captured like Kallen. That's probably why Xingke avoided using the Baryon Cannon while Mordred was shielding.

About the Power of Love: Lelouch seems to be growing up as the series progresses. In R1, he was using the Geass whenever to get things his way, like a spoiled brat (exaggeration). Now he knows that there are more people than just Nunnally who depend on him, and as a result, he no longer treats them like pawns. He even treats Rolo more like an actual brother than someone he would wind up tossing aside. Well, more to the point, he isn't romantically involved yet because he isn't 'grown up' enough, as I see it anyway. He seems to want to treat Kallen, and others, with more kindness, but he is unable to completely respond to the feelings of others. Having your mother assassinated, your sister crippled and blind, and being treated as a political tool by your father is bound to leave you emotionally 'crippled'.

Well, I hope that answer was satisfactory.

I disagree that Lelouch no longer treats anyone like a pawn. He's definitely just taking advantage of Rolo, and I think the only reason why he hasn't used the Geass on him is because he'll want to issue the "die" command when he no longer needs him.
It's true that he is more responsible and caring for the Black Knights and those close to him though, but he showed signs of this with C.C. in season 1 as well(still hoping for the Lelouch/C.C. pairing here :(. Suzaku can have Kallen)

Now, Orange-kun. He's definitely not a Geass user yet. If you didn't notice, he was holding a hand over his eye after the battle with JLF in season one, with blood streaming down his cheek, so it's safe to assume the device covering his eye serves as a replacement. I think he will become a Geass user or Order Master though, I'm still unsure as to what they plan to do with him.

Nah, I can't see that happening. Assuming Kallen gets drugged, mindwiped, etc., she'll have a temporary relationship with Suzaku at best. Personally, I think it's more likely for Suzaku to be paired with Anya or Euphy-wannabe Nina than Kallen. Also, since 'Karen Kozuki' is no longer playing the role of the student 'Kallen Stadtfeld', I can't see Suzaku getting romantically involved with her. As a comparison, I think KallenxSuzaku is as unlikely as Lelouch NOT being paired with CC.
