Death Note...really awesome! watched and read it! too much dialog but still awesome nonetheless.

Manga was better than the anime,

Never like any english dubs on animes.. they just sound awkward and wrong. While L's dub was acceptable, Light's tone was too.. um.. light I guess?

Death Note has been a great ride through both manga and anime, but like many other people said, I think that it just began going downhill after

Still, even if it ended, it doesn't mean you still can't make fun of it :D

I like the hole thing. it was a great story. :}

I'm not going to go deep with this one because I don't want to feel like I'm shaming it. Favorite character for me is Light. Damn I love that guy. But not for obvious reasons. And this is my #1 anime of all time. This is what I call a master piece. The story is beyond incredible. The thought process that went into this is beyond what I expected. This story is the work of geniuses. And I don't say that lightly. It really is unreal that this is just thoughts from a persons head put into motion. I was and still am, amazed.

In the battle to see who will figure out who,s identity is. Lelouch vs. light who do you think will win.

Light, but just because this is the Death Note topic that I'm giving him the positional advantage.

Lelouch has the advantage of his Zero alter ego. Light can write the name for all he cares but it won't work unless he sees the face.

You might be right on the emo portion, but ego? Light wouldn't sacrifice himself even if it would result to the utopia he needed because he firmly believes that HE is GOD. Nuff said on his part.

Err .. so is it topic about Death Note anime or Lelouch vs Light which is sounds ridiculous to compare two guys who in different world and having different ability ..

as for main topic, i really appreciate Light's way of thinking ..
he saw this world in more into pessimistic ways .. he believe he is a god because he had power
which can occur to us if we obtain the same ..

the story itself is very good, logical explanation and good character development makes me interested and keep watching it ..

The whole story is amazing and I continue to read the manga and watch the anime because it is such a thrill to watch. I enjoy seeing how even though Light is technically a genious, he made some pretty stupid mistakes very early in the investigation. He could have avoided so much trouble if he did not go and kill all those FBI agents. I'd say that he probably shouldn't have tried to kill L when he was called out but anyone with that power would be on a power trip and wind up making that kind of mistake. But he was under hardly any suspision while the FBI were tailing him. Rey Penbar didn't see anything that might make Light a suspect and could have saved him some trouble because it was due to killing Rey that L really became fixed on Light. If I was Light I would have kept a way lower profile and continued to kill criminals right under the noses of investigators. If you are not suspisious then that would set L back quite a bit and he'd be back to square one.

I loved this anime...the story was so good from begining to end. everything just came together so perfectly and the voice acting was amazing, and the re light ova's where amazing as well. i don't think that there will ever be something like this again.

and on the topic of light vs. lelouch...hello it could be solved in a chess match! and i thought lelouch was immortal so the death note couldn't kill him?
