As long as the guys on Xbox Live continue to pass comments about my love of crumpets, posh accent, bad teeth, the castle I live in and goddamned Monty Python, they are welcome to continue. :P
Jokes aside, every nation has stereotypes, as aptly described there. They are the basis of a whole lot of classic comedy to boot, and whilst 'patriotism' can get the best of me, I tend to see the funny side of ours. I know it's not entirely relevant to the question, but still.

Why would the Japanese hold any sort of grudge over Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Its like Americans having a grudge over say... Pearl Harbour!

I'm not really bother by those kinda scene's because of 2 things 1. a loit of people i have meet are preety fing stupid and 2. it's just a joke so doesn't bother me

Jokes involving nations and people are easy ones to make and universally understood. Which is why every nation makes fun of every other nation, and even makes fun of itself.

I dislike all stupid people regardless of their nationality. But as for getting annoyed/pissed off at an anime for how they portray America is a bit silly. I mean, look at some of America's tv shows that most everyone likes; Family Guy for example. One of my favorite shows, and it almost always takes jabs at other countries.

Every country has its stereotypes and most of the jokes directed against one country or another is making fun of those stereotypes. Well, the only time the type of situation described really annoyed me is in Yuria 100 Shiki since the mangaka loves to comment on how Lucy is American-made every other page. Chapter 48 is especially guilty of this.

Your topic pisses me off, because it is stupid. If you're ignorant to believe that Japan makes fun of Americans because of Hiroshima then you just utterly disappoint me. Japan makes fun of us as the "Stereotypical America" in their works, same when America makes fun of other countries out of stereotypical assumptions. Its what they think of us as funny just as the same of what we think of them as funny. It's not necessarily true but it's just for laughs in the end.
