yeah there were more characters, Bando,Kurama,Mariko, etc. i just wrote the main things to understand the end. in my opinion the main thing is Kouta's & Lucy's connection. Tha final showdown was between Lucy & Mariko and Lucy defeated her and after that Kurama blown himself up with Mariko. After this Lucy went to Kouta, as i wrote it.

Elfen Lied is so far the most epic anime that i've seen so far!
It has a great story, great characters and a great ending.
The ending of the series also made me cry..... but still this is probably my second favorite Anime!

I would like 2009 decent animations, gore(!!!), and cool continuation to the story. (can't say much about the plot x3)

and the 2nd season could be about something with their kids. That male Diclonius ~ forgot his name ~ also had some plans in the anime so why not =D ( or they could make a remake Elfen Lied that follows the manga's plot ^^)

But serious, now. With season 1's ending season 2 is absolutely and utterly impossible to figure out. Look, Kanbe Mamoru utterly mutilated the ending of the series. It could be completely justified by the fact that the manga hadn't been finished at that time, it was like in the very middle, tome 4, if I'm not mistaking. So if anyone will dare to start shooting it from this point on, it will just turn into a script nightmare, outraging it's devoted fans even more then Suzumiya Haruhi's Endless Eight x8, (I speak mostly about myself, but I believe that most of the audience will agree with me).
I would rather see the production team to leave Season 1 at piece and start all over, retaking everything from the beginning to the end of this undoubtedly magnificent manga\anime story.

I'm sure there is a thread about this but, I'll Contribute, I loved every fucking episode, But I would also love to see this re continued, due to the manga series.
I've also Bought the "Elfen Lied: Diclonius Report" Box Collection, Only wished that the OVA was also included.

Elfen Lied was beautiful. I cried at the end because it was so amazing. You should read the manga. I cried harder at the end of the manga.
