Ever had to Rage Quit a Series/Movie?

I agree...Freezing anime was bad..very bad..I prefer the manga..it's much much more better...

OT : SRW OG Inspector, I only hated the episode where Wodan & Zengar had a duel..the final episode was big..and I mean really big...

People are going to jump all over me for this one, but I rage quit Ergo Proxy. I really wanted to like it, but it was too pretentious and took too damn long to get to the point.

I nearly rage quit Speedgrapher, but happened to be really bored otherwise so I made it through it.

I totally rage quit Black Cat; the Manga was just so much better than the anime, I was super-pissed that the anime effectively ruined the chance of the Manga getting more popular.

Let's see-- I suppose you could say I rage-quit Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig, except I went back and saw the final 3 episodes without feeling like I really missed anything in the in-between. 2nd gig just didn't come close to the original SAC.

Rage-quit Gunslinger Girl after the first few episodes, as I didn't think it was going anywhere I liked, which is to say that mostly I thought it was wasting my time.

Oh, and I rage-quit Naruto Shippuden finally after they went back to doing filler again. I managed to make it through the giant turtle arc, but by that point I was already current with the Manga so the next time they jumped into filler I was out. Which is saying something, because I made it through all the filler in the original (pre-Shippuden) Naruto. Still stay current with the Manga, though.

K-On, I only watched the very 1st epi and deleted it all right away. To-love ru. I hate faggots with harems. I quit watching Higurashi When They Cry because it took a turn and I disagreed with and it wasn't just. Things reset there, so pretty much, it wasn't progressing.

Most series I quit because they get boring. However the only one that I was like WOW fuck this shyt /rage was white album because the main guy was such a prick. I'll probably pick it back up though its not like it wasn't good, just the actions by the character made it annoying.

Hence the Slice of life tag it got but it was funny as hell. My pick would be Ookami-san to shichinin no nakama-tachi. That anime just ended without warning and barely touched that back stories of the chars expect for the maid. I almost rage quit on Honey and clover but the slow pace picked up after episode 5 for me.

I dont think id quit a movie just cause it didnt turn out to what i expected at some point, id continue to watch cause id like to know what my happen after.

Oh boy, I have a list for this one.

Gantz- Read the manga first, then learned that the anime barely followed it. Was not happy.
Baki the Grappler- Just couldn't get into it.
Clannad- Tried watching it, I really did. But I got so damn bored. Hate me if ya want, but it's true.
Needless- Not quite sure why I stopped watching. May have to pick it up again.

Strike Witches.

I TRIED. I really did. But I could not sit through even one ep without feeling like it was sucking my life away.

I started watching Madoka Magica because of comments on danbooru to the tune of "Mami's so badass/GAR/UNLIMITED RIFLE WORKS/etc" and I came away with the impression that it was like Nanoha without the Gundams, or Pretty Cure without the pre-teen demographic target. Come episode 3 I dropped it like a sack of bricks.

Then I went back and watched the rest so that I could bitch about it without being uninformed. Suffice it to say that I have never encountered a series I hated so thoroughly as Madoka Magica. The characters are quite literally the only redeeming feature that it has so far as I care.

I've never had to, since I'd just be curious to know what happens next no matter how much I rage.

i can only watch higurashi one episode per about 3-5 days. everytime it makes me not want to continue, but then later i want to.

I haven't quit an anime series, yet. When I start a new series I always want to make sure that I'll like it, so I pick the ones to which I can relate, that have a good story/theme or both. Plus I always stick with short and moderate length series, simply because long ones (Naruto. Bleach etc) tend to be piled up with fillers and begin to, either change too much for the worse, or loose quality in animation, story, characters etc.

Btw, I watched Haruhi through Endless Eight, so I generally oversee some negative aspects, as long as they don't conflict with my principles and concepts.



Regarding Clannad:

mostly fighting animes with girl ripping each others clothes... i really cant enjoy the fighting when someone below my pants is enjoying it... oh yeah and naruto
