Ever run into a bad anime you couldn't finish?

Gantz, I was expecting a psychological horror/ecchi like Elfen Lied. But no, instead its like watching a terrible B movie horror film. The characters kept running into COMPLETELY avoidable obstacles and the only thing it had going for it was fanservice and Gantz's sense of humor. But here's a list of the anime I just couldn't take seriously:

Gantz- see above

Queens Blade- Hot fanservice, but shooting acidic milk out of your tits? >_>

Green Green- Though I may give this a try later

edit- since someone has necrobumped this I can give you a few more

Spice and Wolf- I am a sucker for girls with animal characteristics (not furry). But I just dozed off during episode 2

MM!- 15 minutes into it and... NO.

I think it would be rather odd if a person didn't ever drop at least several anime. So perhaps a more correct phrasing would be "How many anime couldn't you finish?"

Anyway, this is the stuff I've dropped.

I rarely watching anime .. so i just have these on my dropped list.

Bad animes still bad though.

Here are a few that I remember dropping:

Ranma 1/2 - too damn long with no proper ending.

Inuyasha - see Ranma 1/2.

Eureka seven - It really bored me for a mecha series. I dropped it after episode 7. I'll provably give it another chance eventually, but I just didn't want to invest my time at the moment.

To Love-Ru - It was really dumb for a ecchi series. I couldn't stand the CG tenctacles monsters, and that is what made me dropped it.

Clannad - MOE, NO. I just could get pass the opening theme.
Kannon - see Clannad.

K-On - I don't get the appeal. I mean, this show is something that my little sister would love, but yeah, this is not for me.

Azumanga Daioh - It wasn't that bad, but It just wasn't for me. Dropped it after the "dream" episode; I though it was really pointless and not funny.

To Aru Majutsu no Index - I struggle a lot watching "To Aru Kagaku no Railgun" because I felt that it had a lot of filler, so by the time I started watching "To Aru Majutsu no Index" I just lost interest in the serie.

Sometimes, I watch anime that at first doesn't grab me for some reason, but later I watch them again and then it hits me. It is usually depended on what mood I am. Examples of this are: Fate/Stay Night, and Black Lagoon.

Its a shame .. you didn't know what you just missed.

Shukufuku no Campanella - shit was SO LAME! I couldn't get passed episode 4.

Naruto & Bleach - The fillers... the horrible fillers...

ToHeart2 - I thought ToHeart was pretty good, but ToHeart2 was crap, I couldn't get passed episode 2.

Clannad After Story - The first season pretty good, but after ep 4 of After Story, I was like "Fuck this..." I just couldn't bring my self to watch the rest... yeah, yeah, you could give me this BS about how it's good or how you "Shed manly tears", etc, etc, but it's just not my thing... so yeah...

those are the only ones that come to mind at the moment...

Gantz - Fucking butchered it. I'll stick with the manga.

Gundamn Seed Destiny - Fuck it. Just fuck it, I barely managed to finish Seed...

Naruto, Bleach - Herp Derp. Wonder why....

Speed Grapher... great concept, slow and boring execution. I stopped at episode 14, I think.

I just recently dumped Mezzo forte. The Movie was cool, but the tv show was seriously boring and horribly animated. I tried to watch it and stuck with it longer than I would other bad anime out of respect (or whatever you want to call it) for the movie. But it was a bad anime. Nothing else to say about it.

Lol my sister was the one really watching, we watched it together. But kinda got bored when I found out it's gonna be more than 50 episodes, with Shugo chara Doki, and Party it's around 125 episodes... >_>. It's a fun and watchable anime though.

and I've been watching anime's since Junior High, so yeah it's obvious that the list became so big.

A lot of hate for gantz... watch for tities.

Hehe, well I actually watched probably all the episodes. It is definetly a young girl's anime so I just thought it was a bit funny.

I will use your list as a reference since I am out of anime to watch till the next season starts in a week or so.

The anime only appeals to those who have played the VNs. It's still a "Profitable" anime, since merchandise for them is still being produced and LEAF is still making OVAs (there's like 4 series of OVA for To Heart 2 itself)

I'm not surprised that some people don't like it.

You watch ToHeart 2 because you love the characters, the stories will always be a romance genre anime. :D
