Hell, they can be flexible and mix the two so that everyone can be happy.
They contradict each other though. It would take some serious finagling for them to work together.

MANA OVERWHELMING. LET THE FINAGLING BEGIN.

I'm actually not sure how much of this might be shown in the TV version. There is a possiblity that we won't get anything but an implication for the TV version while there will be a sex scene in the BluRay release. This might be just a guess, but I heard that the BD version of episode 0 will have bonus scenes (apparently the episode 0 that was shown at the screening event at Sunday before last week was a few minutes longer that what aired on TV last week).
Blu-ray sex scene....it sounds unlikely but it's more probable than a sex scene being aired on live television in daylight hours. If anything it'll be a hint or even better a strong confirmation that they had sex without showing it, because optimally the scene should show how much Tohsaka is willing to put on the line for Shirou(because mana transfer has more risks associated with it than losing your virginity) and how dishonest she is with her affection toward him.
I'm not really sure what else they could add to the prologue in the BD besides more of Tohsaka's daily life mixed with Sorcerer duties, which isn't really that interesting. It could have been the opening for UBW.

As for your spoiler:
Why did Caster put Saber in a wedding dress again? I still don't know the reason behind that
Mostly just for fan-service but behind that is a much crueler truth.
Remember Medea's tragedy. She lived her entire life being used by Jason, her zealous love for him was originally fabricated by a magical spell cast by Aphrodite. This love would result in her brutally dismembering her brother who cared for her since she was a babe and betraying her father who would later go mad with grief after having the daughter he treasured above all single-handedly ruin his kingdom. All because those actions would be in the name of her love who never loved her and she never truly loved him. In the end Jason left her to marry a women that would give him his own kingdom, she was cast aside like a broken tool but even after the spell wore off she still sought him being the only place left for her. Medea appeared at the wedding and fueled by jealousy she used her magic to burn the bride and her family alive before Jason's eyes and left only him alive. Now she was an outcast to the entire world, having betrayed and been betrayed by everything she held dear.
The 4th Holy Grail War. So when she saw Saber happily living out her days with Shirou in peace, she resented them. They would live out the happy ending that she was constantly denied in her previous life. It would have been simple to wait until her mana drain would weaken them until she could easily step on their necks but Medea wanted something grander. In Medea's eyes Saber was a tool being driven by love but never having it reciprocated(because Shirou picked Tohsaka in this route), so she pitied Saber and took her under her wings in an attempt to reenact the tragedy that befell her but with the traitor "winning". She swooped in with the godly power of Rule Breaker and bewitched Saber into trying to slay her beloved, much like how Medea was captivated by Jason through Aphrodite's power. Having failed that she dressed Saber up to be what Medea wanted when Jason was being married, but this time the lover would kill the master and finally be free. Deeper beneath that, she wanted to test the mettle of the love between Shirou and Saber. Ironically in doing so she was simply repeating Medea's tragedy. However she finally found someone who would never betray her, someone worth her true affection having experienced her suffering
but the story of Heroic Spirits are always tragedies and lovers are no exception.
I went off on a tangent there, but Medea's tale is a really good one.
