I'm interested to know what animes people like where it's based on people in school or around that age, I might agree in some cases and also may get new ideas for something to watch.

Thats probably the only anime I've watched that has school as its focal point. There are lots of animes out there that involve someone who is currently in school but school isn't what it revolves around.

Minami-ke FTW ^w^ But my favorite school manga is currently undecided, though Koko Ni Iru Yo definitely has its place in my heart =D Also, K-On! is another favorite... it's so hard to choose >.>

I do love the azumanga daioh, there's little else that can bring the comedy quite as well. Still, I also really enjoy Onegai Teacher, one of my favorite romantic comedies involving aliens, as well as Happy Lesson. Fun show, even if it's a bit silly.
