Fullmetal Alchemist Brother Hood What's The Point?

Not entirely a hoax though. Arakawa did collaborate with the animation company and asked for the story to be a little different.

I never read the manga, so my judgment is purely comparison/contrast of the first and this version of the story. My conclusion: This is one of the greatest fucking animes I have ever watched. I don't want it to end cause every episode is better than the last, but I need to know how it ends! Maybe in a few years when the price of DVDs drop I'll buy it, and I'm really not the big spender.

Coming from someone who didn't watch the series before it was dubbed, is FUNimation just taking full episodes and chopping them up in bits or is this really how it was originally aired?
