I thought that Saeko couldn't be more awesome than she already was. I was wrong of course.
I really liked where this episode went and how they handled Saeko's rather...conflicting personality.
It was very smooth, as far as transition between sexy woman, embarrassed girl and psychopathic maniac and back again. And I also liked how on one hand she knows that there's something not right with her (she does enjoy violence and killing rather enormously, let's face it) and the fact that she really can't help it...That was interesting to watch and you really can't help but feel somewhat sad for her, especially when she torments herself for it by saying that she doesn't deserve to be loved...speaking of which, Takashi comes rolling in and not only doesn't go into any useless tirade bullshit but shuts her up in style...smooth move hero, no sarcasm intended. The camera panning out there had rather clear implications as to what happens afterward...
and there were talks of "uncut/uncensored" version being released someday...*coughcough*
And they sure know how to make motivation speech this time around. That was very nicely done, with him not letting her 'kink' bother him (or at lest not showing it) and that she should just be herself and survive, because of how he wants to survive with her...or rather, wants her to survive along with him. Okay, it sounded a bit more fluid than the psycho-babble I just wrote, but that was the gist of it, at least to me. And I've found that to be amazingly awesome-sound for some reason. Like a Guren Lagann Style whipping speech. Believe in me, who believes in you, no?
And Alice welcoming the couple just made my eyes water, if for a second.
I'm pumped for next episode. I know it probably won't be as good as Ep 9 droolfest, but still, this series is coming out really good.
