Gakuen Mokushiroku: High-school of the Dead //Zombies!

That was fucking amazing! I was afraid they'd fuck this one up. I've never been so happy to be wrong.

MAN this was so great... that's all that can be said, really. xD

Madhouse usually does a great job in sticking to the original content.

I love zombie movies. This anime... this godly anime will give birth to such an unholy cult following. I'm sure every zombie fan out there will love this. It's beautifully animated and exquisitely drawn. The story is substantial and bitter, it has the workings of greatness. I hope every episode will stir the inner fanboy in me like the first has.

Goddamn as soon as I started watching I started thinking "How long is it gonna be till they get to the part in the mall damnit!"

Oh yeah I fukken love it so far, the only thing that might get annoying is when they try to censor out the blood by turning it black like in all other anime...

I just got finished watching the first episode, and I'm feeling an utter state of euphoria right now. Madhouse blew me away with this first episode, and I really felt as if I was a part of the zombie apocalypse, with the unforgiving atmosphere, and the tension created by both the animation and the music. Plus, there were amazing pantie shots, so how could a series be bad with those?

When that piece of chalk fell...I knew stuff was going down.

One of the most pivotal moments of the show for me was

Character wise, I can feel a lot of potential for Takashi. He seems really strong, but still cares for the well-being of others.

I'm also really interested in Saeko and Shizuka. Can't wait to see more of them and more of this show!

You know I really love how all the zombie go after everyones titties first before biting them XD

Oh man, and they chose the PERFECT scene to put at the very end of the episode, that part in the made me rage and baww at the same time when I was reading the mango...

You know, 13 episodes isn't a bad thing. It rules out the possibility of any crappy filler being thrown in (at least, it should). Besides, there are like, 5 volumes of stuff to cover. A second season wouldn't be surprising.

I hate to be the one to point this out but i foresee some pretty tasty doujinshi based on this, I'm pretty certain most of it will be based around gangrape.

The first episode was badass.
I am hoping that the anime covers the manga all the way,(hoping that is longer that 13 episodes),Or at least that it has more that one season. This is the anime of the year.

I think the 12-13 episodes would be until he mall part...then 2nd season...since it's license...when do you think they'll release the DVD??
