I want to put cross-dressing but I think its different

It is different (in the same sense that painting lead yellow isn't the same thing as turning it into gold), but it's definitely related. It's the little sister of gender-bender, if you will. Or maybe the little brother who likes to wear his sister's clothing.

Yes, I enjoy gender bender stuff (of nearly all kind) myself. One of my first mangas (Ranma 1/2) has that. And even when I was younger, I couldn't help but notice how attractive female Ranma is.

One of the last mangas I read (Sazanami Cherry) combines traps with yaoi and has, unusually enough, the "trappy" main character as an actual transsexual (apparently). Which probably makes it's yaoi-ness rather questionable. But I thought it was pretty nice.

In that case there is nothing wrong with that (why would there be). Since in a manga it's basically a "girl" you label as a man.

To my knowledge, "Gender Bender" is a broad term that encompasses sex change (whether by magic or other meas) just as well as crossdressing.

What you think to be gender bender are actually traps. Or counter-traps if it's about a woman dressing up as a man.
As Dr. Nyar stated before me, gender bender is when a character goes trhough complete sex-change.
The bist thing about gender bender is (my personal opinion) that while their bodies change their mindes stay the same (well, most of the times anyway)

I think its ok to be curious and open? I mean, if you enjoy it, why not right? and not just anime, manga or hentai, but I think for everything else. How else do you enjoy life if youre not open to letting it be enjoyed. :D

I have over 7,4 GB of manga chapters that contain gender bender/trap ( or things like that) on my computer.
So, I think I'm pretty obsessed with traps and gender bender. I just like them^^
