for starter Doraemon then pokemon then dragon ball then sailormoon then gundam seed and then that cartoon called anime after that i started my otaku way of life.....

Some oldass anime I saw in my childhood which I don't even remember the name to. It was some 90's one with a girl on a crucifix in the OP.
Though my first anime which I saw in my late teens that actually got me into watching thereon would be Samurai Champloo.

I watched DBZ as a kid and that introduced me to anime as a whole but it wasn't until I started watching DeathNote that I became a total otaku, now I can't stop XD I find myself finishing some anime series withing a day or two and the longer ones within a week or two XD it's a total addiction for me

Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk got me into Manga, Sailor Moon and Escaflowne got me into Anime. Funny thing is, I've been watching Mazinger Z and Astro Boy as a kid via foreign tapes and didn't even realize it was Anime back then.

Well, I'd have to say Voltron, Speed Racer or Robotech got me started... It's hard to say which came first really.

It was Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Tenchi Muyo. When I was young I lost interest in Anime and completely forgot about it. When I was about 12 or 13 my sister got me back into Anime by introducing me to the .Hack series.

Technically, Pokemon. My first experience with anime as child. But Yu Yu Hakusho is what made me love anime.
