Halo Legends: The Babysitter

So I've just finished watching the first episode of the new Halo Anime, and I have to say that it's awesome. Though I've also noticed that alot of the people I've spoken with, including people from fakku had no idea what I was talking about.

So I made up my mind to link the entire first episode here in general ( where it feels to belong the best ) to have someone to discuss what I believe to be one of the most awesome piece of game lore ever. How nice of me eh?

This was actually pretty good. I had my doubts about this but it turned out alright. I enjoyed this episode.

Metroid much? I didn't really think it made much sense, and what's with the Japanese influence on the Covenant? I never really liked these combination films. Animatrix was ok, but now these films are just meh. Hope the other ones are better.

If you'd paid attention they said at the begining of the brefing that the buildings on the planet predated both the humans and covenant, so the japanese culture on the planet had nothing to do with the Covenant. ( aka the reason they were recording them in the first place )

Mind explaining why you thought the films were so called ''meh''?

Ok that was really rather good. I did not have high hopes at all as I am not even a fan of the game. But I think I can watch this till the end. Really good, just get the feeling the next to episodes will be back story.

I'll take your word for it Mr. Bushido, although I'm still a bit doubtful I guess I'll just have to watch it.

This being aired on the Bungie website or something? where do you watch it or download it?

Well I supose not everyone would like it but I still sudgest giving it a try and watch the whole episode.

You don't understand, I mean that whenever other productions do their own little films of a series, they like throwing their own thing into it. In this case, making the covenents look japanese. If you didn't notice, the Elites look like they had samurai armor and were holding those monk staffs while the prophet looked like a japanese priest.

I did notice, though I don't see much difference from how they usually appears, ( and is described in the books ) though I might admit that it has somewhat of a japanese feeling over it, it is not enough to destroy the halo atmosphere.
