Have you ever cried from watching an anime?

clannad(tons of different times),gurren laggan, air tv, kanon, so many others that i prob dont remember

I'm getting depressed, just from reading about all this death in a forum.

From anime, I've gotten real teary eyed in Full Metal Alchemist, for pretty much all the reasons previously listed. Some, in Elfen Lied, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, GitS:1st and 2nd gigs. DMC, for being such a horrible adaptation.

I actually started full on freakin' crying while watching The Last Samurai, during one of the final scenes. It's funny, I'd watched the movie a lot more before that, but that last time, I was completely bawling for some reason. Luckily, my mother thought I was laughing when she heard.

Now that I think about, I haven't really gotten teary eyed for a long while. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm already planning on watching Fate Stay Night, Welcome to the NHK, and Code Geass. I'm not really interested in stuff like Clannad or Nana, no disrespect to those who do.

If you're looking for something that can make you teary eyed, I would strongly suggest Kanon. But if you're not interested in shows like Clannad, you may not be care for it. If more action and comedy suits you, I'd go with Gurren Lagann.

I'm glad you plan on watching Fate Stay Night, that's possibly my favorite anime, and I've had no problem watching through it a few times.

i read and watch a lotta romance anime and manga. so of course.
during elfen lied i cried during the anime and manga. especially at the end on the manga when she dies by melting her own body...
*sniff* i get teary-eyed just thinking about it

I cried quite a few times while watching an anime, Elfen Lied, heck I start just by listening to the music in it :oops:
Fate/stay Night because Saber couldn't be with Shirou. and many more which I can't recall. Damm I need to get a Diary or something :?

I cried to the second season of Rozen Maiden when Hina-Ichigo died and loses her roza mystica. :cry:

Samurai Champloo had me going when it ended more because I loved the anime then was sad. As well the end of Yu Yu Haku Show. Busou Renkin, Cowboy Bebob and Samurai Deeper Kyo also did it.

Oh well that may seem weird to some.

But if I love a anime my emotion come out (i feel with the character)

well as for me i only almost cried at the end of shakugan no shana II and i still get goosebumps (and i'm watching it for the 10th time now)

I cried on Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien... God that hurt.... T_T

Yes. Clannad, Kanon, Air and Code Geass when Rolo died. YES.

Just cried last night while watching The Girl Who Lept Through Time. A great movie for anyone who likes the slice of life genre.
