Heroine

I was wondering the heroines for my coming manga...
and i got stuck on this issue... X X

I think I would prefer being a little bit older, but not by much.

I too would like the heroine to be a bit older than me, but not much. If they are younger then I'll get the feeling of inexperience, and of her being naive. I prefer heroines to be skilled.

I would feel inferior if she was younger than me. It would then make me think, what the hell is going on in my life?! The older tend to have more experience and are more mature to make more appropriate decisions.

A setting and general plot would be nice to know before deciding on character design and personality. Unless I'm missing something...

dont care if shes older or younger its not age that makes a heroine its her actions that makes her known as one, so im guessing just do what you think is right

It depends on who has more power in the relationship. If the chick is strong, and she has the upper hand, then she should be older. If the guy is in charge, then the chick should be younger.

It doesn't seem right for a guy to take care of a girl who's younger than he is, right? Or for a girl to take care of a guy who's older than she is, right?

Or they could be the same age, with a few months difference.

It wouldn't be a very sexy manga if the heroine were older than ME. Her mom, maybe...

it really depends upon the plot, if you like a twist in the story it would really be cool if the female lead was younger but really strong, its really a matter of delivery ya know, but its your story so i dont have the idea to make it so i dont want to vote too, sorry.

Or you can make a character that's 100-500 years old but looks younger than the hero though I'm not sure what kind of genre you are doing...

Younger most definitely unless as the above posters have said the heroine acts as the superior in the relationship. Wears the pants, what have you...
