You don't have to be a demon to get that old, a cursed human who doesn't age also works fine.
for the older type younger type thing it's just like comparing these two characters.
Clare from Brave Soul (way older than you think..)
and her Sister, Alicia (your typical clumsy imouto character)
But in My case I choose Older. :D

as for me..I Choose a Fresh Young Blond Chick... older one is nice as well..but sometimes their all-wise attitude is kinda bugging me (Even though lot of them are cute with that attitude)

It looks like even though more posts have said older, it has actually moved towards the younger side. As I said earlier, I prefer older, but it depends in what context.
