Anime is by far my biggest hobby... so without it......
i dunno it could be a little boring.....

I think Japanese will have it hard, a lot will lose their job
i am pretty sure some will commit seppuku (i´ll do it too)
and for the rest the world... it´s the same

I think there would still be anime underground somewhere, something will always be prohibited but someone will always be there to make it known and hide it away safely in their stash of do not look heres.
But if I could never get my hands on anime im sure I would be playing alot more video games and watching more movies.

I don't think it would be banned anytime soon...not completely at least. Too much work and not enough gain. Especially since international laws are a delicious ping-pong of "yes, but"

If anime is prohibited, then it WILL have massive impact on the Japanese economy, many companies will go bankrupt creating a massive rise on productive unemployment rate. Simply put, it will not be a pleasant day for economy in Japan, which will lead to problems to Global economy, and it will made approximately 15% people in this blue planet agitated (FAKKU will got 99,9%)

actually "seppuku" literally mean suicide. And if i may add some incoherent ramblings...if that god forsaken law do exist in the future, let us rally all our relatives-in-same-hobby and take up arms. Much like prohibition of alcohol, this would fail on a massive scale and would only go into underground trading/black market stuff. "Yeah man, can I get my Gundam fix.. I'm dyin' here"

In my opinion, if anime is prohibited, that would mean Freedom of Speech is too.

If anime does get banned worldwide, then it’s good to say you won’t see any new anime. Because cost will be an issue, and it won’t be worth spending that much to get some phases of anime published secretly.
